🔼 Tied Up. The men’s soccer team tied No. 2 NC State 0-0 in its season opener on Thursday. The Chanticleers had four shots and three were on goal. The men held up a strong defense, not allowing a single goal off of NC State’s 19 shots. Goalkeeper Will Devine made four saves.

🔼 One Short. The women’s soccer team fell to Florida 3-2 after the weather delayed game on Thursday night. Coastal had five shots and three were on goal. Goalkeeper Aris Lamanna had 10 saves. The team is now 1-1-0 this season.

🔼 Honored. Volleyball player Anna Rita was named to the Sun Belt’s 2026 Preseason Volleyball All-Conference Team. She is a middle blocker from Latvia. Her 143 blocks were the fifth-most in a single season in program history and third-most during the rally-scoring era. Last season she ranked second with 30 solo blocks and 1.39 blocks per set.
