🔼 Challenge Accepted. The men’s and women’s basketball teams will compete in the MAC-SBC Challenge. The men will host Eastern Michigan at the HTC Center in its 2026-27 season opener on Nov. 2. This marks the first time the teams are playing each other since 1991. The women will travel to Kalamazoo, Mich., to face Western Michigan on Nov. 2. This is their first meeting in program history.

New Foe. The SBC welcomed a new school to the conference.

🔼 Lots of Newcomers. The women’s soccer team announced the addition of 17 newcomers. Coastal welcomes nine freshmen, Addie Utz, Chloe Smith, Kamden Pierce, Olivia Lawrence, Ava Rodriguez, Luisa Thomas, Lily Bella, Elinor Guest, and Corinne Rodriguez, along with two sophomores, Landri Allee and Katie Lakin; five juniors, Jenny Skogmo, Kyra Kotsopoulos, Reegan Wagg, Breckynn Pugh, and Samantha Schulze; and one graduate student, Sydney Magliocca.
