🔼 That’s a Lot! The lacrosse team earned Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Association Academic Honor Squad recognition. Nine student-athletes were named to the 2026 IWLCA Academic Honor Roll. To qualify for this prestigious honor, a women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.20 or higher team GPA for the academic year. The Chanticleers posted a 3.53 GPA. Coastal's honorees include McKenna Eppers (Exercise & Sport Science), Gianna Giacolone (Psychology), Sophie Kingsborough (Communication), Alyson Mascolo (Exercise & Sport Science), Ella Parker (Public Relations and Strategic Communication), Avery Przymylski (Sports Management), Charlotte Sadler (Sports Management), Nikki Seven (Business Administration), and Lily Wallace (Marine Science).

🔼 Academic Excellence. The beach and indoor volleyball teams earned 2025-26 American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Awards. The award honors high school and collegiate volleyball teams that maintain at least a 3.30 cumulative GPA. The Chanticleer beach volleyball program posted a 3.70 team GPA during the 2025-26 academic year, marking the program's ninth consecutive AVCA Team Academic Award (2018-26). This marks the third consecutive year the indoor volleyball team has received the honor and the eighth time overall since first being recognized following the 2014-15 academic year. The Chanticleers posted a 3.63 team GPA during the 2025-26 academic year.
