Good Morning, Chanticleers. The game time is set for the football game on Oct. 31!

What all do we have stirring in today’s Brew?

🏀 Grady earns Preseason honors
🏐 Celebrating after 30 years
👌 And much, much more!

Since 2002, more than $9.4 billion in lottery proceeds have been invested in education across South Carolina. That funding has made a major impact supporting scholarships like the LIFE, HOPE, and Palmetto Fellows, as well as, the purchase of school buses, and technology initiatives statewide. Visit sceducationlottery.com/educationwins for more information.

🔼 Preseason Honor. Women’s basketball player Tessa Grady was named to the Preseason All-Sun Belt First Team. Last season, Grady led the Chants with 13.6 points per game. She ranked third in the league in both three-point percentage (36%) and three-pointers per game (2.6). Her 83 three-pointers last season tied for the fourth-most in program history. The women’s basketball team was picked tied for 7th in the Sun Belt Conference Women’s Basketball Preseason Coaches Poll.

🔼 New Chants. Sophomore transfer guards Trey Perry and Darius Washington III are emerging as vocal and action-oriented leaders for the men's basketball team under head coach Justin Gray. Perry brings vocal passion, energy, and valuable experience from Miami (Ohio)'s undefeated regular season, while Washington offers poise, calmness, and a strong work ethic following his stint at Kennesaw State. Head coach Gray has praised both players for earning their teammates' trust and producing consistently through hard work and extra gym time.
