🔼 From Player to Staff. Former CCU softball player Kaelin Cash was hired as the Director of Softball Operations and Analytics. Cash just completed her collegiate playing career with the Chanticleers during the 2026 season. In her new role, Cash will oversee the program's day-to-day operations while assisting with analytics, player development support, team travel and other administrative responsibilities.

🔼 On the Staff. Former Coastal Carolina women’s golfer Lena Spainhour (formerly Schaeffner) has been named an assistant coach for the Chanticleers. Spainhour was a four-year letterwinner for CCU from 2012-16. She set the single-season scoring average record of 72.94 her junior year (2014-15). She also won three individual tournament titles, captured the Big South Championship individual title and became the first Chanticleer women’s golfer to qualify as an individual for the NCAA Division I National Championship after a runner-up finish at the NCAA Raleigh Regional.
