🔼 Preseason Honors. The football team had three players earn Preseason All-Sun Belt Conference honors. Coastal Carolina was picked to finish fifth in the Sun Belt Conference East Division as well. Graduate defensive back Ja'Marion Wayne was named to the Preseason All-Sun Belt First Team, while redshirt senior linebacker Tray Brown and junior defensive back Myles Woods earned Second Team recognition.

🔼 New Chants. The men’s tennis team has six new players on its 2026 roster! Gustav Andersson and Itamar Tapiro are just two on that list. Learn all about the newcomers here!

🔼 True Scholars. The women’s golf team had four Chanticleers earn 2025-26 WGCA All-American Scholar Team honors. Freshmen Kate Ryan and Anna Brehm, sophomore Aoife Devaney and junior Carla Bourdeaux received the award. The Chanticleers have had a total of 74 student-athletes receive the honor since 2004.

Pickleball Pro. Former women’s tennis player Shelby Bates was named to Team USA for the 2026 Pickleball World Cup. The event is Aug. 27-30 in Da Nang, Vietnam.

🔼 Academic Honors. The men’s and women’s tennis teams each earned ITA All-Academic Team honors. Five men placed on the ITA Scholar-Athlete list: Rivers Cahill, Jack Dixon, Enzo Garutti, Christopher Norlin, and Eric Tripathi. Eight women placed on the list: Paula Cabrer, Sarah Clark, Brooke Rogers, Francesca Simpson, Francisca Laundes, Aida Mitrache, Brunelle Kouam, and Diana Zuba.
