🔼 Conference Honors. The football team had seven players earn Preseason All-Sun Belt Conference Honors. Junior defensive back Myles Woods was named to the Preseason All-Sun Belt First Team, while wide receiver Tristian Gardner, defensive end Donovan Grayson and offensive lineman Mason Barton earned Second Team recognition. Defensive lineman Xzavier Booker, linebacker Jordan Thompson and defensive back Azarel Juste were named to the Third Team.

Woods started 11 games last season and led the Chanticleers with # interceptions.

🔼 Academic Awards. The men’s and women’s soccer teams earned United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year. Coastal was one of just 175 schools to have both its men's and women's soccer programs recognized. The women posted a 3.70 team grade point average, while the men recorded a 3.42 team GPA to earn the national academic honor.
