🔼 Strike! The baseball team welcomes Josh Hopper as the pitching coach for the squad in 2027. Hopper spent the last five-plus years with the Pittsburgh Pirates organization, where he was part of the player development staff during the rise of Paul Skenes. Before Pittsburgh, Hopper built his collegiate résumé at Dallas Baptist, UAB and Berry College, developing nine MLB Draft picks during his nine seasons with the Blazers alone.

🔼 Preseason Recognition. Nine Chanticleers earned preseason All-Sun Belt honors from Phil Steele's College Football Preview, led by linebacker Se'Von McDowell's second-team selection. The selections spotlight a veteran core set to lead Coastal Carolina into the 2026 season under head coach Ryan Beard.

🔼 Roster Reload. Coastal Carolina added 11 newcomers for the 2026-27 season, including seven transfers and four freshmen, as head coach Justin Gray continues to build on last year's 19-win campaign. See the full list of new Chanticleers joining the program.

🔼 Sign Up! The softball team is hosting the July Elite Prospect Camp on July 27-28! Women in eighth grade to a sophomore in college are welcome to sign up. There are multiple different events to register for, so click here to sign up!
