🔼 Hot Bats. The baseball team has a new hitting coach! Jake Gautreau will join the 2027 coaching staff under head coach Chris Lemonis. Gautreau previously was the hitting coach at East Carolina. He also has coaching experience at Mississippi State and his alma mater Tulane. He has professional experience after being selected the No. 14 pick in the 2001 MLB Draft. He played eight seasons with the Padres, Indians and Mets.

Made History. Jake Gautreau was a part of history as a player Tulane.

🔼 Well Managed. The baseball team hired Tony Skole as the new general manager. Skole has 25 years of collegiate head coaching experience. He was recently worked with IMG Academy Baseball for two years. Skole was also the head coach at The Citadel, his alma mater, and Lincoln Memorial.
