Good Morning, Chanticleers. Fall camp is almost here, and Coastal Carolina head football coach Ryan Beard sat down for an in-depth preseason conversation to discuss the progress the Chanticleers have made throughout the summer.

🔼 Early Recognition. Six football players were named to the Athlon Sports Preseason All-Sun Belt Team. Linebacker Se'Veon McDowell headlined the Chanticleers' selections, earning second-team honors. Coastal Carolina placed three players on the third team with running back Dominic Knicely, cornerback Ja'Marion Wayne, and punter Emile Sebafundi each receiving recognition. Wide receiver Robby Washington and linebacker Tray Brown rounded out the Chanticleers' honorees with fourth-team selections.

Schedule Release! The cross country team released its 2026 schedule. The Chanticleers start competing on Sept. 4.

🔼 Welcome! The women’s tennis team added Mollie Garcia to the 2026 roster. Garcia spent the past two seasons at Campbell. She posted a 17-17 career singles record and a 14-10 career doubles record while at Campbell. She competed on courts No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 in singles.
