🔼 We Know Them! Two Chanticleers are competing in the 2026 Nissin World Lacrosse Women’s Championship! Assistant coach Abby Thorne will compete for Team Australia. Incoming sophomore Annie Devine will represent Team Ireland. The event is set to begin July 24 in Tokyo, Japan, and run through Aug. 2. Team Australia is ranked No. 4 and will compete in Pool B. Team Ireland is ranked No.13 and will play in Pool A.

Lookin’ Back. Let’s take a look back at the 2026 women’s tennis season. The Chanticleers went 13-6 overall and 2-2 in Sun Belt Conference play.

Head coach Catherine Hewitt earned her ###th career victory in Coastal’s 7-0 win against Queens on Feb. 14.

🔼 Welcome! The men’s golf team signed Waymon Thomas to the 2026-27 roster. Thomas is from Mount Pleasant, S.C., and has two years of eligibility remaining. He played the 2025-26 season at Winthrop after spending his first two collegiate seasons at College of Charleston. He posted a 73.83 scoring average while competing in six tournaments for the Eagles after appearing in 14 tournaments over two seasons with the Cougars.
